Canon Multi Tele       Olympus Pen D

 

The Canon Sure Shot Multi Tele was introduced in 1988 and was a fully automatic autofocus camera offering full-frame (24x36mm) and half-frame (17x24mm) formats and two focal lengths. The camera can be switched to the desired format before the film is loaded. A 35mm f/3.5 lens and 60mm f/5.6 telephoto lens are built-in. By using the optional teleconverter, the 60mm lens becomes a 75mm lens (110mm for half-frame format).

The Olympus Pen series are probably the most famous of the half frame cameras. . Introduced in about 1962, the Pen D has a Zuiko f/1.9 32 mm. 6 element lens, Copal X shutter and uncoupled selenium meter which gives a reading using the EV scale.
