Yashica 35
The Yashica Electro 35 range of coupled rangefinder cameras were made in the late 1960's and 70's. They featured a Copal leaf shutter with aperture-priority automatic exposure.The lens is a superb Color-Yashinon f1.7 45mm.
Shown here on the 35GSN are the supplementary lens available for the camera; a wide angle and telephoto which screw on to the filter mount. A hot shoe mounted viewfinder is used with these lenses.
Two problems that arise with these cameras are that the light seals perish and the mercury battery is no longer available. The seals can easily be replaced and a battery adaptor can be obtained from www.yashica-guy.com
