The
Zenit 3M was made in Russia between 1962 and 1970. The lens fitting is M39 and the camera doesn't have an instant return mirror, so the
viewfinder is blocked until the shutter is wound on. .
It
had a focal plane shutter giving speeds from 1/30s up to a maximum 1/500s,
and B, a co-axial flash socket and a self timer. There was no accessory
shoe. The Kiev Rangefinder is a copy of the Contax Rangefinders. They were made during a period of nearly 40 years between 1947 and 1987. The Kiev 4 were produced from 1957 to 1979. It is a rangefinder with a light meter, interchangeable lenses and shutter speeds to 1/1000 sec. |
