Minolta AL-F                 Konica C35

When we ran a film through these two we were pleasantly surprised at the results we got.

The Minolta AL-F is a solid easy to use camera with a coupled rangefinder; auto-exposure (shutter priority) only  and a good Rokkor 38mm f2.8 lens.

The Konica  is the auto focus version of the C35 range and is special in that it was the first auto focus camera to be marketed. The only control is the film speed setting though the range chosen by the auto focus is indicated on the left hand side of the lens. The lens is a very good 38mm f2.8. We found that the exposures, focusing and sharpness very good with this easy to use little camera.
